About us
Welcome to Molmento
This is us: Kristien and Peter. We have been welcoming guests from around the world to our B&B since 2014, loving every minute of it. Kristien is the full-time host and also takes care of the cleaning, shopping and home baking. Peter is the invisible power behind the scenes, and is in charge of keeping the garden spick and span. Together, we love to enjoy the little things in life, walking and cycling in nature, and good food.
Our lives are happiest when we have guests
Taking good care of our guests, or rather spoiling them rotten, is really our thing. We get endless pleasure from making sure a room is all neat and tidy for the next visitor, or telling you about the loveliest spots in the area. We get to fulfil our passion for delicious, healthy and pure food in the breakfasts we serve. A little experiment here, a sweet idea there… we cook with love and love to cook, and you can taste that!
Molmento in lovely Mol
Where the winters are coldest and the summers are warmest, that’s where you’ll find Molmento. At the heart of the Kempen region near Antwerp, 3 km from the centre of Mol and the natural beauty of the Mol lakes. A paradise for walkers and cyclists, but first and foremost for anyone who enjoys life.
Our contemporary, minimalistic home is on the very spot where Kristien’s grandparents once lived. The majestic oak in the back garden stands as testimony to this family history.

Sustainable entrepreneurship
When building our home, we deliberately opted for sustainable and energy-efficient solutions. We carry that same commitment into daily life at the B&B and in the breakfasts we serve, without letting it affect our guests’ level of comfort. Judging by the lovely reactions we receive and the way our guests help us think of ways to be even more sustainable, it seems they value our approach.
